Do you fancy doing something a bit different in your lunch hour or after work with your colleagues? Well look no further than the latest craze - footgolf. Yes you read that right; footgolf is a combination of two of the most popular sports in the world.
The latest sports craze is sweeping the country and we are lucky enough to have the Cambridge Footgolf Centre right on the doorstep in Milton. The game is played on a golf course using a size 5 football and the object of the game is to get the ball into the hole using only your feet in the fewest number of shots possible.
Footgolf is a very addictive sport combining fitness, strategy, power and precision, and it’s open to everyone. The big difference between footgolf and golf is that a football will roll and bounce in a myriad of ways dependent on the topography of the course.
A round of 18 holes costs £10 and a fourball costs £30 at Milton. In terms of footwear, footgolfers are encouraged to wear trainers or astroturf shoes as football boots are not permitted. The Milton course is open from 10am til dusk.< Previous Next >
